At 5th Avenue Schools we know that the human element is everything. Great facilities, modern equipment and a great educational project are nothing more than the means to an end. And this end would not be possible without an extraordinary teaching team that carries it out year after year.
Here you will find that extraordinary educational team, the true pride of our nursery schools, formed by teachers who masterfully combine professionalism and vocation, experience and generosity, expertise and effort.
And all this, without giving up that part of the childish spirit that allows them to continue having fun and being amazed by the inexhaustible capacity and inventiveness of their students.
All its members have, with the supervision of the Educational Inspection, a rigorous training, legally pre-established, in constant updating and improvement.
Without prejudice to the academic and organizational functions that correspond to the management of the centers, the team of educators and the families interact in an easy, direct and full way in all the aspects they need
did you know that...?
5th Avenue Schools participates in the main forums for updating and improvement in early childhood education.
Continuous training
At 5th Avenue Schools we believe that the training of our educational teams and their constant updating and improvement should be one of the main priorities of our organizational model. This continuous training makes possible the systematic renewal of the knowledge and professional skills of the teaching team in accordance with the new needs of our students and the pedagogical advances and the scientific and technical development of all educational resources.
We assume these tasks with the objective of promoting, formalizing and giving continuity to the training process of all the members of our nursery schools, as a response to our commitment to remain at the forefront of bilingual early childhood education.
Specifically, the aims of our activities in this area are:
- To keep abreast of new theories, models and trends in early childhood education.
- To promote teamwork.
- Promote reflection and analysis to decide what to incorporate and how to do it in order to improve the level of educational excellence of our nursery schools, the first and last objective to which we are committed.
- To get the educational team excited.
- To ensure that the training is rigorous and effective, so that the effort is reflected in the students and in the smooth running of the schools.
- To respect the different individualities within a common approach.
With this starting point, the training is oriented towards activities that allow, on the one hand, to learn about new pedagogical trends and, on the other hand, to make possible the acquisition of the necessary tools so that educators can evaluate the different options, incorporate them into their teaching work with a selective criterion and elaborate their own work materials. With the same objective, 5th Avenue Schools selects and proposes attendance to Conferences and External Courses, individually or in groups, and throughout the course, courses and workshops are organized internally, in the afternoon.
